Frequently asked questions

Aura

What is aura?

Aura is the currency of Aura. You send it to the squad you want to win in a battle, or to a creator during a solo live. Every aura point you send is added to their score, and creators collect the aura they receive to climb the global leaderboard.

Do I get free aura?

Yes. Every account with a verified email gets 1000 free aura every day, which does not carry over: whatever you do not use resets at midnight (Italian time). New accounts also get a one-time welcome bonus of 20,000 free aura. Free aura is spent before the aura you bought and can be sent like any aura, but it never generates earnings and is never refunded or paid out.

How do I buy more aura?

In the iOS and Android apps you buy them from the Aura wallet (Profile → Aura wallet → Buy aura) as App Store or Google Play in-app purchases: the store handles the payment and shows the price in your currency. On the Aura website (aura.dnafactory.it) you buy them with a card through Stripe. Aura bought is available on the website and in the apps with the same account.

Can I get a refund or convert aura into money?

Aura is a virtual currency for Aura only: it cannot be exchanged for money and aura already sent cannot be taken back. For a purchase made in the apps, ask Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play for a refund, under their rules: if the store refunds it, the aura of that pack is taken back from your balance, even if it goes below zero. For a purchase made on the website, write to [email protected] with the purchase date: it can be refunded only if you have not used any aura of that purchase yet.

Do creators earn money from aura?

From Season 0, yes: creators earn 10% of what senders actually paid for the purchased aura they receive, net of VAT (gifts, mini-games and profile gifts), shown in euro under Earnings. Free daily aura and the welcome bonus do not count, and the x2 of the last 30 seconds doubles battle points, not earnings. In battles earnings go to the winning squad, split among its members. Payouts are not active yet: they will have their own terms, announced beforehand.

What happens to the leaderboard when Season 0 starts?

Until then the aura you receive keeps adding up. When Season 0 starts, the received-aura totals of the leaderboard are reset to zero, once; from then on they are never reset again.

Battles

How do battles work?

Two squads (1v1, 2v2 or 4v4) go live together for 15 or 30 minutes. Viewers send aura to the squad they support; the squad with the higher score when the timer ends wins, and its members share the aura of the battle. In the last 30 seconds only the aura boost can be sent, and it counts double.

Why can't I send gifts in the last 30 seconds?

In the final 30 seconds of a battle gifts and mini-games are blocked: only the manual aura boost can be sent, and it counts double for the battle score. The x2 does not double earnings.

What are seasons and what happens to my RP?

Seasons, starting with Season 0, are started by Aura with a set duration. Right now we are in pre-season: ranked battles win and lose RP as usual. When a season starts everyone's RP go back to the starting value. Between two seasons RP are frozen: you can still play battles, but you cannot win or lose RP.

What are the fair play rules?

You cannot send aura to a battle you are playing in or to your own live, and one person may not use several accounts. Content must follow our terms: no nudity, violence, hate, harassment or scams. Leaving a battle early counts as a forfeit.

Lives & clips

How do lives and clips work?

From the app you can go live on your own or upload clips up to 60 seconds. Viewers can like, comment and send aura to your lives. Clips are processed in a few seconds and then appear in the feed.

Can I add a message to a gift?

Yes, with the four most expensive gifts (Crown, Gem, Rocket, Aura Storm) in lives and battles: up to 80 characters, shown on screen under the gift to everyone watching, one message at a time. Messages are public and filtered: no insults, spam or personal data. Abuse can get your account suspended.

How do I get notified when a creator goes live?

Open the creator's profile in the app and turn on the bell: you will get a notification when they go live or start a battle. Tap the bell again to turn it off. This is a service notification, so it does not depend on the Promotions and reminders setting.

Safety & reports

How do I report something?

Use Report on any clip, live, battle, comment or profile. Each person can report the same thing once. Content with 10 reports is hidden until our team reviews it; an account with 20 reports cannot publish until it is reviewed.

What happens if my account is suspended?

Suspended accounts are signed out and cannot sign in until the suspension ends. If you think it is a mistake, write to [email protected] from the email of your account.

Account & privacy

How do I protect my account?

Turn on two-factor authentication in Settings > Security: after your password you will be asked for a code from an authenticator app. Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.

How do I delete my account and data?

On the website go to Settings > Profile > Delete account. Your profile, clips and personal data are deleted; aura you bought is lost. You can also ask [email protected] to delete it for you.

How do I stop promotional notifications?

Promotions and reminders (event news, tips, "It's battle time") are turned on by default for accounts created before 26 September 2026: the updated app shows you a notice once, with a button to turn them off. For accounts created after that date they are sent only if you turned them on, at sign-up or later. To stop them at any time, turn off Settings > Notifications > Promotions and reminders in the app, or turn off notifications for Aura on your phone; you can also ask us at [email protected]. You will still get notifications about your account and the live alerts you turned on.
